विद्यालय एक सुंदर मंदिर (कविता)

विद्यालय शब्द जितना है सुंदर,     

उतना ही सुंदर अर्थ है इसका। 

शिक्षा का है ये अद्भुत मंदिर, 

जहाँ गुरु शिष्य का लगता मेला। 

शिष्य नहीं होता जन्म से गुरु का, 

पर ये कैसा अद्भुत नाता है। 

गुरु की क्षत्र छाया में आकर के ही, 

परिपक्व होती ये मिट्टी की काया है। 

प्रकृति के अद्भुत आँगन में बैठ जब, 

गुरुकुल का दीपक प्रज्ज्वलित होता है। 

इससे प्रकाशित किरणों का स्वतः ही, 

चारों ओर बसेरा होता है। 

यह किरण है या कोई अंतद्रष्टि, 

जो जीवन के मूल्य समझाती है। 

इनको अपना कर कैसे बढ़ना है, 

हर पल इसका बोध कराती है। 

गुरु शिष्य की यह परम्परा जब, 

विद्या के मंदिर में पोषित होती है। 

तब जाकर एक नई चेतना

भविष्य का आदर्श बनती है।
